About Bug2Build

Bug2Build is an open source, not for profit, student-led tech and innovation community dedicated to bridging the gap between learning and real-world application for students, developers and professionals, etc.

What is Bug2Build?

Bug2Build is a student-led tech and innovation community dedicated to bridging the gap between learning and real-world application. We empower students to move from finding bugs to building solutions through hands-on workshops, hackathons, research collaborations, and open-source projects.

At Bug2Build, we believe true learning happens by doing. Our teams work across multiple domains — Technology, Research, Cybersecurity, Marketing, Events, Design, Sponsorship, and HR — to create a dynamic environment where students grow practically, not just theoretically.

Bug2Build is not just a club — it's a movement of builders, thinkers, and changemakers who believe that small ideas, when nurtured collaboratively, can create a big impact.

Our Mission

  • Foster innovation and teamwork through real projects and hackathons.
  • Build industry-ready skills by collaborating with mentors, professionals, and institutions.
  • Encourage research and social impact via rural and educational outreach programs.
  • Cultivate a culture of self-reliance, leadership, and community-driven growth.

Our Vision

  • Empowering students to innovate and build real-world tech.
  • Creating a community of learning, collaboration, and growth.
  • Bridging academia with industry through practical initiatives.
  • Supporting India's next-generation tech innovators.

What We Do

Bug2Build is a student-driven tech community dedicated to building skills, solving real problems, and growing together. We bring students from different domains under one platform where they can collaborate, learn, and innovate. Our focus is on practical learning — moving from “finding bugs” to actually “building” impactful solutions.
We create opportunities that help students gain confidence, explore new technologies, and develop leadership & teamwork skills while having fun through community engagement.

Events & Workshops

We regularly organize engaging events such as hackathons, coding challenges, tech talks, and project showcases. These events motivate students to test their skills, compete with peers, and experience real-world problem-solving.
Our workshops are designed to be hands-on and beginner-friendly. We cover trending fields like web development, cybersecurity, AI/ML, open-source tools, and many more — helping students stay updated with industry needs and practical skills.

Meet Our Founders

Bug2Build was founded by two passionate tech enthusiasts — Kastab Garai and Bhoumic Garg. Their shared vision is to build a strong and supportive student community where learning goes beyond the classroom and students can grow through real-world experience, collaboration, and innovation.
